Permit to Import/Export Species that are subject of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES)

Export of rare and endangered species of wild animals and wild plants of their parts and (or) derivatives included in the red books of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, restricted for movement across the customs border of the customs union

The state body is the Committee for Forestry and Wildlife of the Ministry.

Recipients of services - Physical and legal entities.

The term of the service - from the date of delivery of the package of documents - within 5 (five) working days.

The service fee is paid, the State fee for issuing permits for the import and export of rare and endangered species of plants, animals and sturgeon fish, as well as their parts and derivatives, is charged in accordance with subparagraph 3) of Article 540 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan of December 10, 2008 year "On taxes and other obligatory payments to the budget (Tax Code)" and makes up 200 percent of the monthly calculated indicator .

List of documents:

  1. An application for obtaining an import permit, export of samples according to the form in accordance with the annex to the state service standard;
  2. An identity document, a document confirming the authority of the representative of the service recipient(for identification);
  3. A copy of the contract or agreement between the exporter and the importer, confirming the intentions to carry out this export, except for persons who export for personal purposes;
  4. When importing samples to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a copy of an export permit or a certificate for re-export if the sample is included in Annexes 1, 2, 3 of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora;
  5. A copy of the conclusion of the scientific organization;
  6. A copy of the document confirming the payment of the state fee to the budget;

The result of the provision of public services is permission to import species of animals into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and export from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan that are subject to the Convention on International Trade in Wildlife Fauna and Flora
